Genuine British Army Issue MTP Wet Weather Overtrousers. They are made from a waterproof breathable MVP material which keeps water out while allowing sweat and moisture to evaporate. These trousers are heavier than the lightweight version as they are designed as combat trousers, although they are still relatively lightweight themselves. Whilst designed for the military they would also be ideal for conditions where a waterproof layer is needed, such as fishing, hiking, and other outdoor activities.
